Below is typical of what we did each year during Spring Break:

14 MARCH
• Arrival, Palermo Airport
• Meet our guide Rosa Rizza and our driver Mario Filì
• Transfer to Selinunte
• Accommodations in the Grand Hotel Selinunte (4-star)
• Dinner in the hotel and overnight

15 MARCH
• Breakfast in the hotel
• Palazzo Adriano where Cinema Paradiso was filmed
• Visit to the Planeta Winery in Sambucca di Sicilia
• Light lunch and tasting at Planeta
• Return to the hotel
• Dinner in the Hotel

16 MARCH
• Breakfast in the hotel
• Depart for Segesta to visit the Archaeological Park
• Seafood lunch in Castelemare del Golfo
• On to Palermo for a guided tour of the Palatine Chapel
• Hotel Fiesta Garden Beach (4-star)
• Dinner in the hotel and overnight

17 MARCH
• Breakfast in the hotel
• Depart for a full-day visit to Cefalù and Castelbuono
• Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight

18 MARCH
• Breakfast in the hotel
• Drive through Madonie Mountains
• Stop in Mario's home town, Alimena for an amazing Sicilian barbecue
• Accommodations in Agriturismo Masseria degli Ulivi
• Dinner in the farmhouse and overnight

19 MARCH
• Breakfast in the farmhouse
• Visit to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Noto
• Lunch and olive oil tasting
• Dinner in Ristorante Kitch (Rosa's son's restaurant)
• Return to the farmhouse and overnight

20 MARCH
• Breakfast
• Depart for the spectacular Catania open market.
• Proceed up Mt. Etna and stop for a lunch and tasting at the Murgo Winery
• Visit Mt. Etna (1900m – Sylvester crater area)
• Transfer to our hotel in Taormina, the Villa Diodoro
• Dinner and overnight

21 MARCH
• Breakfast in the hotel
• Visit Taormina and the famous Greek Theatre
• Lemon themed lunch in Ristorante a Zammara
• Afternoon at leisure
• Dinner in the hotel
• Overnight

22 MARCH
• Breakfast in the hotel
• Transfer to Catania Airport
• Departure
